The Coventry Engineering Group, based in the West Midlands is a UK based manufacturer of Precision Static and Driven Spindle tooling, which are used in the World’s most demanding and high profile industries. Our well equipped machine shop also has the capability to manufacture Component Part supported by AS9100/D accreditation, whether it be prototype or pre-production parts or higher volume specialist components.
Coventry Engineering specializes in the manufacturer of Precision Static and Driven Spindle tooling & Tool Holders, both manufactured in-house and supplied as and appointed distributor for quality engineered products.
Coventry Engineering are proud to be associated with Solidworks as its solid modeling computer-aided design and computer-aided engineering package and have used the 3d surface and solid modelling as part of its engineering design tools for many years, the system has the ability to work with all of the major packages and bring in customer models for interrogation and feasibility studies as necessary.
Manufacturing interact with the design package using CAD/CAM links, the package FeatureCAM (by Autodesk) is used for machine communication and automates our workflow from design to NC code, resulting in reduced programming time and producing consistent results for CNC milling & turning thus enables quicker and more efficient manufacturing.
Coventry engineering has a robust Quality Management System (QMS) which is audited internally and also externally on a regular basis by registered auditors, we have been ISO 9001/2008 accredited to date and recently had success in achieving AS9100 (D) EN9100 in 2018, Coventry Engineering Group pays more than just lip service to quality standards.
In process quality comes as standard throughout the organisation, at each stage of manufacture, supported by a comprehensive range of modern and regularly calibrated UKAS traceable calibrated gauges. Recent investment in an Aberlink Zenith Too CMM with its large 1.5m x 0.8m bed allows us to measure to high accuracy, both large and small complex machined components and assemblies against a solid model
Routings and BOM structures developed in our Javelin MRP management system incorporates real time data collection and part traceability and can incorporate issue control and design change control to ISO standards.
We’re proud of our culture where people are encouraged to contribute, innovate and develop both the product and themselves.
